Fanta is the new awesome
Apparently as a nation, consumption of candy increased by 50 percent between 1980 and 1995, and in the past 25 years, soft drink consumption has doubled, according to a study published in the Journal of the American Dietetic Association (1999).
I don't know if I believed it until today, when I was at the park playing darebase with some friends and there was a little girl riding her bike by us, and we noticed that instead of a water bottle, she was packing a full bottle of red Fanta.

kids these days.

I felt even more sorry for her when we saw her a little later and she was standing in a puddle of Fanta. Poor kid needs a simple lesson in "carbonation science". Thanks to you and Emily for coming to Darebase and pizza, Rebecca...

the awesome is also that I had an explosive Fanta experience this weekend also, but it didn't ruin our BBQ, nope, not one bit.

what really would have done it for me is if she was packing some pepsi clear.
