Birthween 2006 was the new awesome
If you are special like me, your birthday happens on a major holiday. My birthday happens on Halloween. The best major holiday. While all the people were getting shot in the Castro, we were having a lovely birthween party indoors.
JFK and Jackie O. stopped by.
Turns out they read our blog.
Andy loves short shorts. Good thing Emily loves guys that love short shorts.
This is Robyn and Shawn trying to make their best Rebecca and Betsy faces.
At one point things were a little quiet. So instead of taking a picture of Robyn, Courtney, Nate and Rebecca being bored, I took open mouth pictures of them.
Shawn really gets it.
This is not a staged open mouth picture. I'm actually this happy because I'm sitting on the lap of a viking named Wayne.
Liz and Jeremy stopped by. Liz wins for creepiest best costume of the night!
Borat and his gypsy girlfriend.
Maybe you've heard that we're in love with Mark and Pepper.
Oh Liz, your costume is so creepy.
Birthween party games included, but were not limited to, making mini monsters that we baked in the oven.
Also, maybe you remember my roommate made me a checkerboard birthday cake.
It was pretty much rad.
Birthween 2006 was extra fantastic. Thank goodness the world wide web is so totally future and has websites like Friendster and MySpace to remind us of birthdays of long lost friends. To all those college friends I won't hear from again til Birthween 2007, this post is for you.

We come back from NY the day after Thanksgiving. I'll make some food so you can eat the leftovers...just like in olden times.
