Tonight Steve and I ate dinner at our favorite sushi place in San Francisco! Blue Fin Sushi!
Blue Fin Sushi is so pretty.
Sometimes opposites attract.
The best sushi roll in all the land! The 49er roll (salmon, avocado, cucumber, thinly sliced lemon).
After dinner we hopped on our scooters and scooted over to Baker Beach to catch the sunset. It's going go be in the mid 80's in SF the next few days. Perfect for 4th of July festivites.
One final announcement...last week while on vacation in Park City, UT with my family, Steve asked me to marry him and I said yes!
Congratulations!! :)

ReplyDeleteooooh sex blog,
ReplyDeletesound full of mystery and gender classifications.
no, wait that can't be right?
p.s. Bets, do you happen to be Mormon? i have a gread mormon story...
chloe...Blue Fin is on Clement and....ummm...18th I think. email when you're in town and we'll all go!
ReplyDeleteand yes indeedy I'm a mormon. let's hear the stories!
ok,
ReplyDeletewhen i was in high school my first BF (so to speak) was a mormon boy named Ammon. he was a bit older than me and all we did was hold hands in the dark and he played guitar (ahhh). Well, not being mormon myself and living on the east coast i knew little about it other than his parents couldn't know about me (he was one of 9 kids!). one day he just disapeared and his friend later told me he'd moved to Utah to go on his "mission" or something. So technically he never broke up with me and i may or may not still be dating him, which would mean i am a bad girlfriend as i am currently living with my Old Man (BF). which by the way, if my Grandmother were still alive she would be practicing some irish catholic guilt on me for living in sin by not speaking to me.
the moral of this story is, i have a soft spot for Mormons (but not the crazy mult. wives type)
wait, does that mean you are going to have like, 20 kids?
can i name one?
Bets + Santos = A New Awesome.
ReplyDeleteI might know that guy- How many Ammons can there be???
f*bomb, oooh are u maybe fake dating Ammon too?
ReplyDeleteSweetness. I am so happy for you.
ReplyDeleteThis will not affect the future continuation of "The New Awesome", right?
