All mine is the new awesome

Remember how bex never has time to post on our blog anymore? Well, due to this current posting drought from bex, I thought I'd take this opportunity to move the new awesome in a direction I've wanted to for quite some time now but wasn't sure how bex would take it. But since I'm in control, I'd like to bring up something very important. So You Think You Can Dance.

Last summer this show saved me from summer re-run hell. I know you're probably rolling your eyes right now but seriously. This show is good. It makes me feel like I'm 15 again watching my favorite dancing part of Star Search every week. I reminds me of when my sisters and I made a dance to that Erasure song called "Stop!" (I can show you this dance anytime...also, bex actually knows a good part of it now too)

Right now my favorite girls are Lacey...


and Lauren.


And my favorite boy is Hok.

    betsy, i'm totally obsessed with this show. last year, i looked for tickets to see the tour and they didn't come to utah. blast them! i think it probably doesn't say good things about me that two of my favorite shows are reality tv. one being "so you think you can dance" and the other one is really FIERCE, if you know what i mean. that's what happens when people cancel arrested development.

    i heart this show as well. and i agree...it totally helps me survive the rerun situation.

    just one question, though...why does lacey oddly look like lisa marie presley? or is it just me?

    caroline and chelle...i think this is the start of a beautiful relationship. and lacey looks EXACTLY like her. it's freakish.

    I watched Lacey & Cameron's dance like 5 times in a row. It should be the new awesome. Even Jospeh is a believer in the show now!

    We have just watched the scene where that guy does SIX! Perfect! Jump-Kicks! IN!! A!! ROW!!! And rewound it about 32 times.

    I haven't laughed this hard since three days ago when we watched it over and over again...

    ohhh! i totally forgot how pissed off i am at the judges for kicking the best dancer ever (hok's the best at what he does) BUT ricky! omg- he is amazing. i'm soooo pissed.

    ms. bags...ricky was an amazing dancer but remember how he was super weird and creepy? creepy like you'd never want to go on an alone date with him, only a group date?

    My friend & I made up a dance to a C&C Music Factory song, Gonna Make you Sweat. We rocked! Thanks for the reminder that there are great shows to watch. I've been boycotting reruns by not watching tv...I'll have to tune in.

    oh oh oh...i also love this show more than most things and i also use it to save me from summer reruns. and tonight chelle and i watched it together, with a bit of rewinding and rewatching. and critiquing almost as eloquently as mia michaels. i also have a crush on tice diorio. and wade robson. and pasha. and cameron. and hok.

    and i love the star search reference, as i myself was a huge star search fan. whatever happened to those spokesmodels?
