Sweet Moves are the new awesome

It is summertime, which means there will be many people out there buying new frisbees. And if they are lucky, their new frisbee will come with a handy, illustrated set of Basic Catches, like this one that we bought the other day:

Oh, sure. The catches start out simple enough. Under the leg? Everyone knows that one.

But then half way down the page, it looks like they ran out of the old standards, and started making some up. Like ... the Phlaud?

And even better - can you imagine admiring someone's Gitis from across the ultimate frisbee field?

I have a feeling I am going to start playing a lot more frisbee now.

  8. How are those even pronounced, I don't want to sound like a total idiot on the ultimate frisbee field. Is it phlaud with an ow sound like Audi or an awh sound like auditorium?
